They were such troopers though and we created gold!
I also heard they got ice cream after.
The perfect way to spend a fall day is having a family session done and getting ice cream!
Thanks so much for the love, laughs and snuggles!
Check out what they had to say about a session with me!
Why is it important to you to have professional photos done of you and your family?
It is important to me to have professional photos done of my family because I am so often on the other side of the camera. My children will otherwise only have selfies of me with them! I want them to see my love for them come through in the photos - not a flustered mom who is trying to get them to all look at the camera at the same time while I have it on a self-timer or am trying to not let the phone fall on them all as I hold it above us. Photography can also be ART.
I want ART on my walls, not just a blurry picture that I took on my phone.
What did you love about your time with Shadlee Meinke Photography?
Shadlee was so kind and understanding with myself and my children. With three kids ages 3, 5, and 7, I was so stressed out making sure they had their hair combed and that we arrived on time. Shadlee was relaxed and calm. She was understanding when my children were running amuck, and she rolled with the circumstances of weather, sunlight, and children making silly faces. The moment we started our session, I felt more calm and collected. Shadlee knew exactly what she was doing and I didn't have to think about a thing.
What would you say to someone wanting to book a photo session with Shadlee Meinke Photography?
I most certainly would recommend Shadlee to anyone looking to book a session. Take a look at her portfolio on her website - she's incredible! She has an eye for capturing the heart and spirit of the people she photographs. Her talent is incredible. You are guaranteed to want to save these photos on your walls for years to come. Also - if you're like me and a mom who is often on the other side of the camera - stop being so self conscious - take the plunge - you won't regret it. Your children will WANT photos of you in them some day. They'll look back and appreciate that you took the time to invest in a memory for THEM.
