Why is Fall the Perfect Time for Family Photos?

Fall family photos are pretty much the end all be all when it comes to a photographer's busy season. It's some of my favorite times to photograph your little fam bam!
There is just something about Lincoln, Nebraska in the fall...cue pumpkin spice everything, the colors of cozy dresses and boots! Not to mention it is not 100 degrees out :)
It is my favorite time to do family photo sessions because the air is a little crisper (I am not an adorable photographer who is dressed in a cute outfit and put together and not sweating during your session, I am quite the opposite. - haha)
changing leaves in a favorite symbol of mine, that life is ever changing and there is no end to the choices and changes we make. something has to end to make room for something new...
I love the fall, cozy colors like rusts, creams, navy blues and mustards. I think they look beautiful against the backdrop of sunset and the tress on fire with burnt oranges and reds!

The last part of why photos in the fall such a huge hit (I believe) are for your annual holiday cards! They are the perfect photos to include when wish others a well season and they are done early enough that you are not scrabbling to get them done when the weather turns!
